Research
Built on published science. Honest about what it hasn't proved yet.
Updated 5 October 2026
Behaviour Intelligence draws on decades of behavioural research. It is also new, and we would rather tell you where the evidence stops than let you find out.
7behavioural domains
30capabilities
2measures for teams: Presence and Severity
What it draws on
78 anchor references across 9 behavioural disciplines.
The framework is drawn from 78 anchor references in psychology and organisational research.
How it measures
Self-report, on a seven-point frequency scale.
You say how often you actually do something, from "Never" to "Almost always". The Snapshot uses 27 statements; the full Profile uses 90.
Two measures, for teams
Presence and Severity.
Is this pattern occurring? How strongly is it showing up? A pattern is read at team level, never pinned on a person.
Where the evidence stops
Four things we won't claim.
- Validated. The instrument is expert-designed and pre-validation. Validation studies are next, not done.
- Normed. There is no reference population yet, so the Snapshot and Profile never show a percentile or a ranking.
- Peer-reviewed. The foundation paper has been submitted to SSRN and is not yet public. It has not been through peer review.
- Predictive. A result describes what you report doing. It doesn't predict what you will do, and a changed score isn't proof that behaviour changed.
If you study behaviour and want to test any of this, we'd rather hear where it breaks than not hear from you.
