Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or reduced motion. This statement says what we aim for, what we have measured, and what we know is not right yet. Statement date: 4 October 2026.
What we aim for
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not had the site audited against WCAG by an independent tester, so we do not claim that it fully conforms.
What we have measured
On 4 October 2026 we ran Google Lighthouse 12.8.2 (accessibility checks only, desktop Chrome, headless) on four pages of a local build of this site. The results:
| Page | Lighthouse accessibility score |
|---|---|
| Home | 95 out of 100 |
| Pricing | 100 out of 100 |
| Help | 100 out of 100 |
| Michael Huynh | 100 out of 100 |
On the home page, Lighthouse flagged two problems, listed under known limitations below.
An automated score checks only part of WCAG. It cannot tell whether link text makes sense, whether the reading order is logical, or whether a screen reader user can complete a task. A score of 100 is not the same as being accessible.
What the site does today
- Every page has a "Skip to content" link as the first thing a keyboard reaches.
- Keyboard focus is shown with a visible outline.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the scroll animations, the moving background and the animated diagrams are switched off.
- Pages are written in British English and marked up as such, with one main heading each.
Known limitations
- On the home page, one line of small grey text on a white background has too little colour contrast (1.94 to 1, where WCAG AA asks for 4.5 to 1).
- On the home page, the pattern cards that turn over have accessible names that do not include all of their visible text, which can confuse people who use voice control.
- Some buttons and cards still move slightly when you hover over them, even with reduced motion turned on.
- The free Snapshot, the paid profiles and the KOZMO Team product run on a separate application, which this statement does not cover. [Michael to confirm: accessibility status of the product at thebimethod.com]
- We have not yet tested the site with people who use assistive technology day to day.
